About This Painting Camp

All About Painting is a summer art camp in San Rafael for students ages 12–16 who want to develop real painting skills in acrylic and oil paint. Students learn color mixing, brushwork, composition, perspective, lighting, and color theory while creating landscapes, still lifes, and creative painting projects.

Unlike general arts-and-crafts camps, this program focuses on fine art fundamentals and teaches students how professional artists approach painting.

Students leave the camp with multiple finished paintings and a stronger understanding of how to use color, light, texture, and composition to create successful artwork.
