Most college art portfolio requirements include live model drawings and paintings, which are difficult to arrange during regular portfolio prep classes (sessions have to be longer).
Therefore, we offer this summer's four-hour weekly workshop (five sessions, 30 hours total) to help fill this gap. Teachers closely monitor and guide students during these live model sessions. The portraits from the previous live model workshops were all used in our graduate students' college portfolios.
Live sketches and detailed drawings of live models are produced at this workshop. Models wear open swimsuits.

This camp will teach you:

  • Anatomy of the human body

  • Drawing and painting a living model

  • Achieving likeness

  • Representing textures of skin and hair

  • Working with values

  • Making a finished portfolio-ready work

Detailed Schedule

12:30 PM - 3:30 PM. Willam Turner: Painting a landscape. Acrylics on board.

Refund policy:

We are not offering refunds for new purchases. However, full credit towards future bookings or transfer to another camp/class will be offered for any cancellations made up to 24 hrs before the camp or class start.
