Vasu Ramamurthi is a painter, digital artist, and transfer student at Foothill Community College for animation and character design. Inspired at an early age by old-school anime and cartoons, Vasu found a passion for art and has since been designing original characters and exploring subjects that delve into identity and emotion through various mediums (acrylic, gouache, digital

art, etc.)

Having been a student and teacher at Art School of SF Bay, Vasu is familiar with both experiences and strongly believes that creating art is about the journey, not just the final product. It is a pleasure to work with other artists and see each student grow and find enjoyment and pride in creating art!
