Vasu is a painter, illustrator, and animator, studying in San Jose State's Animation and Illustration BFA program. Inspired at an early age by anime and video games, Vasu is passionate about visual storytelling through animation and comics. He has experience in traditional medium (Acrylic, Gouache, Watercolor, Charcoal, Graphite, etc.) and digital (Toon Boom Harmony, Photoshop, Procreate/Procreate Dreams).

Having been a student and teacher at Art School of SF Bay, Vasu is familiar with both experiences and loves to help students further their fundamental skills. It is a pleasure to work with other artists and see each student grow and find enjoyment and pride in creating art!
