Sarah Raymond is a multimedia artist. A lifelong lover of art, Sarah loves experimenting with different styles and media and often draws inspiration from the world around her to create original works.
Coming from a background of early childhood education, Sarah loves working with the studio's younger artists. Her goal as a teacher is to emphasize the importance of fundamental skills while simultaneously encouraging students' creativity and fostering a deeper appreciation for art.

Sarah at the San Francisco location is amazing. Our six year-old son asked to take painting classes. On our first day, Sarah adapted to our son's request and then easily brought him into the fold with the other students. She is a very talented artist and great with young students! My son loves learning from her and his skills are really improving!
My 7-year-old daughter has been going to the Art Fundamentals class for the last few months. She has always loved drawing, but we've been amazed by how much her skill has improved since working with Sarah! She's also been exposed to several mediums that are new to her, which is a great part of the class. Best of all, it's by far her favorite activity -- she's always so excited to go, which (as anyone with young kids knows!) really speaks for itself. I would recommend Art School of SF Bay and the Fundamentals class with Sarah to anyone who has a child excited to learn more about art!
My 6yo daughter has been attending weekend art classes here for just over a year. She loves it! The classes have a good variety of projects (drawing, painting, sculpting), and the teachers do a good job of providing age-appropriate art technique instruction.
Most recently, she has been in the class with Sarah, who has been warm and friendly with my daughter. My daughter is always proud to show us her creation at the end of each class :)
