As all our camps, this one teaches art fundamentals to kids. But we also analyze artworks made by famous artists, and create our own interpretations unique new art pieces inspired by famous masterpieces.

This camp will teach you:

  • Sketching alike

  • Shading (how light reflects from objects)

  • Facial anatomy

  • Facial features: differencies and similarities

  • Achieving linkeness

  • Figure anatomy simplified

  • Gesture drawing

  • Drawing an animal

  • Creating values and choosing accents

  • Finishing work

Detailed Schedule

Day 1

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Jeorgia O'Keefe: Painting a portrait of a Flower. Mastering acrylic painting.

12:30 PM - 3:30 PM. Modernist sculpture: Yayoi Kusama, Erwin Wurm: Oven-bake clay, wire, paint.


Day 2

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Micheleangelo: Learning to draw a muscular figure. Paper, pencil.

12:30 PM - 3:30 PM. Hyperrealism and Roberto Bernardi. Painting candy. Acrylic paint of dark background.


Day 3

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Hans Golbain: Learning to draw a portrait. Toned paper, pastel pencils.

12:30 PM - 3:30 PM. Willam Turner: Painting a landscape. Acrylics on board.


Day4

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Dali. Making a surrealistic composition. Watercolor, color pencils.

12:30 PM - 3:30 PM. Walt Dysney / Miyazaki. Creating a character for animation based on a real person. Bristol paper, markers.


Day 5

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM. Art history overview. Creating a project inspired by a favorite masterpiece. Materials of a choice.

Refund policy:

We are not offering refunds for new purchases. However, full credit towards future bookings or transfer to another camp/class will be offered for any cancellations made up to 24 hrs before the camp or class start.

Frequently asked questions about our camps

What is the teacher-student ratio? The teacher-student ratio is 6 to 1 in the camps for 6-10 year olds, and 7 to 1 in camps for 10-18 year olds. My child is 1 year younger than the camp age listed. Can she participate in the camp? Student 1 year younger than the camp age listed can attend the camp if the child is really into art in general and the camp topic in particular. Do you provide before and after class/camp care? Our school does not provide extended child care before and after classes. Due to limited space, please bring the kids only for specific time frame according to the class schedule you are registered for. Do you provide extended care? No, we do not provide extended care.
