Skye Collier is a fine artist and illustrator who is based out of the Muir Woods area. Her Woodland surroundings are largely reflected in her work as a plein air painter who paints outdoors daily. In her artistic practice and career she has explored a wide range of artistic modes and mediums, from oil painting and watercolor,  to creating comics and designing merchandise for her creative business. She is comfortable using both digital tools and traditional mediums and loves to explore both naturalistic and impressionistic styles. She has a strong background in life drawing studies with an emphasis on portraiture and figures which helps to give her a strong foundation in her approach to drawing and painting. She also loves character design and dabbling in animation and often creates such artwork on Procreate or Photoshop.
