Detailed Schedule
Day 1:
9 am - 12:00 pm: Intro to different dinosaurs. Kids draw and color their favorite one. Materials; pencils, boards, acrylic
12:30 - 3:30 pm: Where the Dinosaurs lived. Kids draw a background or a painting of the Jurassic environment.
Day 2:
9 am - 12:00 pm: Sculpting a Dinosaur. Materials; clay, wire, tinfoil, paper, acrylic paint
12:30 - 3:30 pm: Kids learn about dinosaur skeletons and create a fossil ornament out of clay.
Materials; clay, wire, tinfoil, paper, pencils.
Day 3:
9 am - 12:00 pm & 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm:
Cartoon vs Realistic dinosaurs: kids create a dinosaur comic strip. Materials; paper, pencils, markets, colored pencils.
Day 4:
9 am - 12:00 pm: kids paint underwater dinosaurs with watercolor.
12:30 - 3:30 pm: making dinosaur -related crafts. Leather, beads, markers.
Day 5:
9 am - 12:00 pm: Invent your own dinosaur. Kids use what they learned in the previous lessons to create their own clay dinosaur and paint a 3-panel background for it using acrylics.
12:30 pm - 3:30 pm: Final Dinosaur project: kids choose what they want to make that is dinosaur themed.

We are not offering refunds for new purchases. However, full credit towards future bookings or transfer to another camp/class will be offered for any cancellations made up to 24 hrs before the camp or class start.
In the Dinosaur Art Camp students will dive deeper into learning about these astounding prehistoric creatures! We will learn to draw, sculpt and even scratch boards of dinosaurs and also learn to paint prehistoric landscapes. Students will work with clay, watercolors, and mixed media to make various art projects.

What is the teacher-student ratio? The teacher-student ratio is 6 to 1 in the camps for 6-10 year olds, and 7 to 1 in camps for 10-18 year olds. Can I enroll my child for 1 or 2 days only? No, the sessions are 5 days long. My child is 1 year younger than the camp age listed. Can she participate in the camp? Student 1 year younger than the camp age listed can attend the camp if the child is really into art in general and the camp topic in particular. Do you provide before and after class/camp care? Our school does not provide extended child care before and after classes. Due to limited space, please bring the kids only for specific time frame according to the class schedule you are registered for. Do you provide extended care? No, we do not provide extended care.
