Detailed Schedule
Day 1: Introduction to Concept Art and Matte Painting
Overview of Concept Art and Matte Painting.
Explanation of algorithms used in creating images with artificial intelligence.
Basics of writing prompts and selecting references.
Creating a sci-fi style self-portrait (or friend’s portrait) using Midjourney and further refining it in Adobe Photoshop.
Day 2: Exploring Different Styles and Directions
Creating images in various styles and directions.
Crafting a "drawn" vintage-style greeting card based on a photo of your pet using Adobe Firefly or Midjourney.
Refining the card in Adobe Photoshop.
Day 3: Matte Painting Exploration
Discussion on matte paint, its applications, and file preparation specifics.
Crafting a matte painting of a fantasy landscape with island-animal (whale, rhinoceros, hippopotamus etc.) using neural networks or exclusively in Adobe Photoshop.
Creating of simple animation of this scene in Adobe After Effects or Adobe Photoshop
Day 4: Poster Design and Typography
Analyzing movie and animation posters.
Discussing the importance of working with fonts and basic composition principles in these posters.
Using neural networks to generate an image for a poster and enhancing it with compositions, fonts, and text in Adobe Photoshop.
Day 5: Concept Art for Personal Game Project
Brief discussion on concept art, it’s using, essential elements and practices.
Creating a series of concept art pieces in specific styles for a "personal" game using neural networks.

What is the teacher-student ratio? The teacher-student ratio is 6 to 1 in the camps for 6-10 year olds, and 7 to 1 in camps for 10-18 year olds. Can I enroll my child for 1 or 2 days only? No, the sessions are 5 days long. My child is 1 year younger than the camp age listed. Can she participate in the camp? Student 1 year younger than the camp age listed can attend the camp if the child is really into art in general and the camp topic in particular. Do you provide before and after class/camp care? Our school does not provide extended child care before and after classes. Due to limited space, please bring the kids only for specific time frame according to the class schedule you are registered for. Do you provide extended care? No, we do not provide extended care.
