This ongoing course is designed to help students learn the fundamentals of art through digital media. You can use your computer and tablet or an Ipad Pro/Apple Pencil. Procreate and Photoshop will be covered in tandem.

If you are considering a career in visual arts; if you have some experience in traditional media and want to translate your skillset to digital media then this class is designed for you.

The course will be held ONLINE via ZOOM video conference. Students will need access to a computer / tablet / phone with internet connection and zoom.us. After the lecture and demonstrations teachers regularly check and correct the digital image of a student's work, explain what works in particular cases and what does not, and why.

My daughter enjoyed the class and learned a lot about Photoshop. This was her first time using Photoshop and so by taking a full day it was helpful therefore she was able to bring home new art pieces every day. By the end of the week, she learned enough to feel confident in using the basic tools of Photoshop herself but there's still many techniques to discover.
