This class is an offshoot of the advanced teens/portfolio prep class geared towards those applying for animation or visual storytelling programs, including fundamentals of illustration, 2D animation, sketchbooking, and figure drawing. You will get critique on individual work and advice for applying to college with a portfolio. You can start anytime, the teacher will adjust the program to your level of knowledge.

Students use their own tablet or laptop. Recommended software for 2D animation is Procreate or Procreate Dreams (iPad), Toon Boom Harmony, Flipaclip, or Krita.

Recommended for teenagers interested in studying animation and character design.
